Please read these Terms of Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the DubaiBox.ai website (dubaibox.ai) or engaging DubaiBox.ai (“we”, “us”, “our”) for AI Receptionist, AI Appointment Setter, Outbound AI Calling, WhatsApp Automation, WhatsApp Business AI Automation, or AI Chatbot services. By accessing this website or signing up for our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Our Services
DubaiBox.ai provides AI-powered voice and messaging automation services for businesses operating in the UAE, including:
- AI Receptionist for inbound call answering
- AI Appointment Setter for booking, confirmations, and rescheduling
- Outbound AI Calling for callback, follow-up, and database reactivation
- WhatsApp Automation and WhatsApp Business AI Automation
- AI Chatbot for website visitor engagement
Specific features, integrations, and service limits depend on the plan (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise) selected at the time of purchase, as described on our Pricing page.
Eligibility and Client Responsibilities
To use our services, you must be a legally registered business in the UAE (or another jurisdiction we agree to serve) with the authority to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for:
- Holding any licences, approvals, or regulatory clearances required to operate your business and to conduct telemarketing or customer communications under UAE law
- Providing accurate information about your business, scripts, pricing, and policies for use by our AI agents
- Reviewing and approving qualifying questions, escalation rules, and any content the AI agent is trained on before go-live
- Maintaining accurate and lawful contact lists for any outbound calling or WhatsApp campaigns, including a documented consent basis where required
- Promptly notifying us of any changes to your pricing, availability, or policies that would affect the accuracy of AI responses
We reserve the right to decline or pause service delivery where we reasonably believe a client does not hold the necessary approvals to lawfully conduct outbound marketing calls or messaging campaigns.
Onboarding and Service Delivery
Following sign-up, we will work with you to script, connect, test, and launch your AI agent(s) as described on our Integration page. Typical deployment timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on the complexity of your systems, the responsiveness of your team in approving scripts and providing access, and any third-party verification processes (such as WhatsApp Business Platform verification), which are outside our control.
Fees and Payment
- Subscription fees are billed monthly (or annually where a discounted annual plan is selected) in advance, in AED, exclusive of 5% VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Usage beyond the minutes, agents, or conversations included in your plan will be billed as overage at the per-unit rate specified in your plan or order form.
- Fees for third-party services (e.g., Meta’s WhatsApp messaging charges) are separate from our platform fees and are billed based on actual usage and Meta’s then-current pricing.
- Invoices are due within the payment term stated on the invoice. Late payment may result in suspension of services until the account is brought current.
- All plans include a 14-day pilot period as described at the time of sign-up. Specific pilot terms and any associated conditions will be confirmed in your order form or service agreement.
Cancellation and No Lock-In
Our plans are offered with no long-term lock-in contract. You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of your current billing cycle, by notifying us in writing at hi@dubaibox.ai. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Call Recording and Consent
Our AI voice services are configured by default to disclose the caller’s connection to an AI system where required, state the business’s identity and purpose, and provide a recording notice at the start of each call, consistent with UAE law. You acknowledge that call recording without proper consent may constitute an offence under UAE Cybercrimes Law, and you agree not to disable or bypass these default disclosures without written confirmation that you have an alternative lawful basis for doing so.
Outbound Calling and WhatsApp Marketing Compliance
If you engage our Outbound AI Calling or WhatsApp marketing-related services, you confirm that:
- You hold any required approval from your competent authority to conduct telemarketing activity
- Calls will be placed from your registered UAE business number
- You will maintain a lawful basis (consent or otherwise) for contacting each individual on your list
- You understand that DNCR screening, calling-window enforcement, and opt-out handling are enforced by our platform, but that the underlying licence, approvals, and legal compliance remain your responsibility as the business initiating the campaign
We reserve the right to suspend any campaign we reasonably believe breaches UAE telemarketing law or Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform policies.
Intellectual Property
All software, platform technology, AI models, documentation, and content created by DubaiBox.ai remain our intellectual property (or that of our licensors). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our platform or underlying technology to you. Content you provide to us (scripts, pricing information, brand assets, recorded calls used for training) remains your property, and you grant us a licence to use it solely for the purpose of delivering and improving your AI agent(s).
Data Protection
Our collection and processing of personal data in connection with these services is governed by our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf as part of service delivery, we do so as a Data Processor, and a separate Data Processing Agreement may be entered into to reflect the requirements of the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable, continuous service in line with the uptime commitments specified in your plan (including any SLA applicable to Enterprise plans). Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (e.g., telephony carriers, Meta’s WhatsApp platform, your own CRM or calendar provider), and events outside our reasonable control may occasionally affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify clients in advance of planned maintenance where possible.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under UAE law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, or data, except where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under UAE law.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate services immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay outstanding fees, or use our services in a manner that violates UAE law (including telemarketing or data protection regulations). Upon termination, you remain liable for any fees accrued up to the date of termination.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
